A security audit is a method of evaluating the security of a computer system or network by simulating an attack by a malicious user. The process involves an active analysis of the system for any potential vulnerabilities that may result from poor or improper system configuration, known and/or unknown hardware or software flaws, or operational weaknesses in process or technical countermeasures. This analysis is carried out from the position of a potential attacker, and can involve active exploitation of security vulnerabilities. Any security issues that are found will be presented to the system owner together with an assessment of their impact and often with a proposal for mitigation or a technical solution. The intent of a security audit is to determine feasibility of an attack and the amount of business impact of a successful exploit
So even though you may think your systems are secure, we can put it to the test. We have the people, expertise and methods to simulate a full-scale hack attack on your IT infrastructure. If we can breach your infrastructure, then we can patch the weaknesses to make sure nobody else gets through. We’ll start out by finding out how well you expect your security to work and tailor our reports to reflect the needs of your business. Our summary is detailed but non-technical, giving you an at-a-glance graphical overview of problems. Plus we’ll tell you how to solve them, of course. Benefits of the AIS security audit service:
